How was turning 50 for you?

Personally, achieving 50 was a mixed blessing. Sure, 50 is a milestone in and of itself. We're talking half a doggone century, right? General consensus posits that we're still young enough to sow those remaining wild oats, and yet, mature enough to know which ones with which to not take risks. Heck, everyone who's known me since at least junior high is amazed I survived up through my 20s. Everyone's experiences are varied. I look forward to learning and sharing with you all.
