As this group gets started

I noticed that there are options for group forums posts and group bulletins.  I'm assuming the mechanics of the bulletin posts work the same as the regular bulletins (having a limited lifespan before disappearing).  This is a feature that we don't have on the reddit artstore, so I'm intrigued to know if anyone has any suggestions on how that could be used in a practical manner.

Hi! First off, thanks for starting this group, I think it's going to be fun!

These are my ideas for you:
I would add a rule for following spacehey rules, just in case.
I also think that you could use bullitens for "shops" you can repost your shop every 10 days (when your post expires). And then all the topics can be for convos and commissions, etc.

:) hope you like them!

I do like that idea of using the bulletins expressly for linking to shops.  I don't know that I'd have people waiting the full 10-day dropoff.  On the /r/artstore we generally keep it to 1 post per 48 hours, and this seems to work well and keep any one user from completely dominating the front page, which is the objective, but still lets people post frequently enough that they're not too frustrated with it.

It doesn't look like we have the same tools at our disposal here though, so that will largely be on the honor system to trust people not to abuse it.

I've never used reddit so I'm not familiar with the platform, but it sounds great to me!
