One of my favorite bands is Kawaii AF. They make pop-punk that's incredibly awesome and are so supportive of their fans and have a genuine connection with them. They're incredible and are actually how I heard about Spacehey in the first place, so i'll never stop recommending them!

if we r talking the more electronic side, h3artcrush*, zeija, ayesha erotica*, skeletonprince, and food house are pretty good. food house is more hyperpop than scene but they have some influences here and there.

* these artists arent the greatest people so listen at your own discretion

It's kind of difficult to define a genre of music, because every band has a genre mesh. I don't know if these bands would qualify as emo but

I enjoy

Horse the band
The number twelve looks like you
Dance gavin dance (pre mothership album- their new stuff isn't for me)
Iwrestledabearonce
Senses fail

How about the band Get Scared? I know they formed around 2008 but I can't think of many others that are more recently formed and genuinely good sadly.
