i got a few objection.lol videos in my recommended on youtube and went "ohohoho frilly man pretty" and then i looked up what i was actually watching, went "meh, i've never really liked investigation games i think i'll just stick to the memes on youtube" but then i saw that there was an anime so i started binging that, i eventually got to the end of the anime and desparately wanted more so i caved and bought the trilogy on my switch, thank you my horrible taste in men for getting me into ace attorney

RTgame's playthrough got me curious about it and then my best friend shared his steam library and he had the trilogy, so I started to play it and enjoyed it a lot more than I was excepting. I downloaded the later games onto my hacked 3DS and I'm still playing through them.

saw a video on my youtube recommended of the outtakes from the anime english dub and thought it was pretty funny so i watched the anime and the obsession went from there

gamegrumps ace attorney got in my recocmennded and i was like "hrmmmm okay" and watched ALL OF IT and then i wanted more so i watched playthroughs all the way up to dual destinies...... then i decided to get the games for myself

I got into Ace Attorney when I was like ten and honestly I can't quite remember that well HOW exactly I got into it. I know I didn't start by playing the games myself but it's felt like i've just always known about it LOL

when i was in like middle school i was a huge fan of Layton Brothers: Mystery Room (a Professor Layton spinoff game for mobile) and saw that people in the app store reviews said they liked it because it was kinda like ace attorney, so i decided to check out ace attorney and would play it while there was no internet at home because of a hurricane that passed through.

i've since played through every game except the ace attorney x layton crossover and investigations 2

I always knew about it but didn't know how amazing and fun it is as a game! i decided to play it instead of watching gameplay and it was the best decision of my life! ive been a fan since 2017!

My sister was playing it a long time ago, but I didn't start playing til my friends were all like "WOAH YOU GOTTA PLAY THIS" so I did and sometimes listening to your friends is a good idea!

through a smooth mcgroove video lmao, i must've been 10 at the time, but I watched a bunch of his videos and for whatever reason the game caught my attention

pretty sure it just graced my youtube recommended when i was a curious 7 year old and it evolved from there

One day i was watching CRK shorts (yes I had a CRK phase) n 1 day I just saw this trend and it was the Objection funk meme n I was like "woah cool audio" THEN I was binging Kubz scouts videos n I came across a video saying (according to my memory) "I HAVEN'T HAD THIS MUCH FUN AS A JAPANESE LAWYER" so I was like "why not? it's not like I'm gonna be obsessed about it n not actually remember it later" boom, binge watching it everyday, laughing my butt off, realizing they have 6 MAIN GAMES, and now I'm here, sorry if it's long my writing instincts took over

I faintly remember seeing playthroughs of it when I was younger and trying to watch one but it being wayyy too boring for me to actually grasp and enjoy but only recently a friend of mine said I should give it some consideration and when waiting for a game to update on my switch I bought it. Best decision of my life ngl

It was on sale so I decided to check it out 

It’s one of those things where I feel like I always sorta knew about it. When I found out it was on the 3ds I was stoked cause that’s my console of choice so it just felt natural to pirate every single game when I hacked it. 

it was like 3 years ago i think ?? i had finished danganronpa recently and i found a reddit thread on the subreddit reccomending aa and i decided to play it !! never been the same ever again....

honestly ive always loved the kubz scouts and he started playing it and i got soooo invested. but he stopped after a while so i bought it myself to continue, best decision evahhh!!

it was just one of those things I always knew about,,, in my head for a while I thought of it as “that one game abt that one blue lawyer guy.” I finally decided to play it like a year ago and then it went from there (^-^)

back in 2022 or something lol i was bored and it appeared on my YT recommended. i thought the art looked cool and unique and all so i took a shot at it and boom loved it lol. became my whole personality for like 4 months straight.

i knew aa existed before (from memes and objection.lol videos ofc), but only picked it up in summer of 2024. i kinda feel bad for not playing it earlier, but eh, i still played it in the end so it doesn't matter much. anyways here's how i found it

so, i've downloaded this ds emulator, and was wondering which games i should install on it... so i searched for some popular ds games and.. i see ace attorney. "oh hey that's the lawyer game with wright and edgeworth" i thought to myself (probably), and i also thought it was going to be just a fun little game i would play whenever i felt bored.... but man, now i'm completely obsessed with it.

but my obsession only started after playing 1-3. 1-2 was soo hard for me to play through, it just wasn't that fun and all, i even stopped playing it because of this particular case for several weeks. but then i played 1-3 and was like. oh god. this franchise is for me :3 say what you want about turnabout samurai, but i will favour it forever

My gf got reallllyyy super into it from Youtube playthroughs and we watched the anime on call and i fell completely in love with the series!!

I bought a old dsi and it came with a ace attorney game :D

i had known about ace attorney for years but for some reason it just never intrigued me until last year when i see my friend posting screenshots on twitter of their gameplay and i was like "WOAH!!!!!!!!! I should really play it actually!!" fast forward to now my friend dropped it at the turnabout samurai case meanwhile not only do i have each game on an emulator (so i could play with the older DS sprites) but i also bought the official versions for the switch... (including the aai duology obvs hehheheeh)
