My knee-jerk response would be Texas Chainsaw, specifically the 1st two. It's such a fun ride. But I always come back to Black Christmas, I just really love the vibe and storytelling of the movie.

Either Hereditary or As Above So Below, though I've heard a lot of people didn't enjoy it. i'm also a very big fan of anything Blumhouse.

Saw, hands down. The writing is genius for its time and I love that it feels like a 2000s Edgar Allen Poe story. It's a lot of fun and a great introduction to James Wan and Leigh Whannell's creative minds.
