the nun actually really scared me, along with the other conjuring universe movies, but i also think it was really well done, showing all the history and such. the nun is definitely one of the more scarier conjuring antagonists.

The original SAW movie is by far the best horror movie out there in my opinion. I'm a sucker for psychological horror and gore so it's my slice of cake :)
I really like how the whole series is formatted like an actual jigsaw puzzle you have to put together... SO COOL
Plus the pure shock and surprise of watching it for the first has been unmatched

My favorite scary movie has to be Jeepers creepers one and two because of how creative the movie is. However, I do not support the director because he’s a gross and sick individual.

Hell house llc always kills it’s a found footage film about a group of people trying to make a haunted house. great scares and try to watch the full version or else you might miss what happens in the basement !

"We are the weirdos Mister."
I love The Craft. Four badass women doing witchcraft and it is such a great movie. Nancy Downs is one of my favourite characters of all time. I love the Spooky aesthetic.
Ironically, Neve Campbell (Bonnie) and Skeet Ulrich (Chris) are in The Craft together. Which came out in 1996, same year as Scream. And both Ulrich's characters Chris Hooker and Billy Loomis are manipulative assholes who like to play girls. What a coincidence. lol

Silence of the lambs is a classic but I would have to say recently The Babadook. It's a wonderful film that changes the old trope of "fear of mothers" to a newer "fear of motherhood". It's also one of the only popular horror movies to this day written and directed by a woman! If you haven't seen it already, I highly recommend checking it out!

possession (1981) is my favorite of all time. isabelle adjani gave the performance of her life especially during the scene where she just trembles and shakes and screams and like it really hit me and i watched it at a time of my life that i could relate with the subject matter. i really love horror movies that i can relate to somehow and isnt an aspect of horror just to show internalized horror externally? it was like cathartic. i love this movie

I gotta say Sleepaway Camp. One of my all time favorite horror movies, the ending was really bizarre. I really liked the second Sleepaway Camp but I haven't seen the 3rd and the 4th one.

The Conjuring. The Conjuring is perfectly scary with the right amount of drama. This was a close tie with Insidious.

I'm a sucker for the classics and my favorite would be "Halloween". However for a more uncommon answer, my favorite cozy horror film would be "Housebound". I think it's an indi Australian Horror Comedy and I always watch it when I'm sick. If you like "The Boy" and haunted house movies, Give this one a go for your rainy/sick day needs.

Ok so I might be a little basic but I always did adore the first Texas Chainsaw Massacre and My Bloody Valentine! A little bit of a guilty pleasure movie has to be The Resident though.
