It's a really standard choice, but The Shining. I feel boring for saying that, but it truly is the most masterfully crafted horror film ever made.

Definitely Carrie (1976.) I still haven't checked out the remakes/reboots. Are they worth watching or would I taint my loving memories of the original?

My current is color out of space, It's not a traditional Horror movie and I think that's what makes it special. Would love to see similar stuff based on works thats not H.P. Lovecraft

this is a movie in spanish btw-El dia de la bestia. I wouldnt say its scary but it has it gory moments and i like the whole thing of a priest gone evil.

Session 9 is a current favorite. It's a early 00's psychological horror that follows a group of hazmat workers as they do an asbestos abatement job (removal basically) from a huge abandoned sanitarium. Over time, clashing personalities and internal issues become turmoil for the group and one of them is revealed to be hiding a very dark secret. It's a great character study for the different personalities of the characters and the setting location is one of the very few in any film that I've ever seen...ever, that's just as much of a character itself. Watch it and you'll see what I mean.
In general however, I'll usually default to the classics. Freddy 3 I've watched over and over again throughout the years and personally I think it's one of the best in the entire series.

As of right now The Final Prayer/The Borderlands is my favorite horror movie. If you haven't seen it, go watch it right now without looking anything up!

My favorite horror movie has to be Re-Animator and Bride of Re-Animator, I love Herbert West so much
