Honestly evil dead I loved all the movies. But my second choice is Silent Hill.

mines a bit basic, but my favorite is the original Child's play! I've always loved the series since I was 10, and we don't talk about what happened when they tried to remake the original.

I know it's less scary but, I LOVE Stephen King's The Shining (NOT Stanley Kubrik's, all though its not the worst, Kubrik isn't the best,,,)

I think King's The Shining mini-series movie remake of it is super under appreciated, depsite anyones opinion on it, it's my favourite !!!!

Aside from that, I also love My Bloody Valentine

My personal favorite horror movie of all time is The Thing. I think its a perfect film, but I do love Halloween (the franchise as a whole), Evil Dead, The Devil's Candy, Candyman, Shutter (2004), Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Friday the 13th, The Shining, Doctor Sleep, Hell House LLC, Butterfly Kisses, Lake Mungo and soooo many more. 

My fav has to be Texas chainsaw massacre the beginning, love Thomas  

I really like "toad road" (2012). This movie really managed to touch my feelings, and I was deeply moved and empty inside, not because it was scary, but because it was so sad

Carrie is def up there, and psycho and friday the 13th. another one is i think american psycho. not in the weird 12 year old cool sigma way but it was a pretty horrifying movie until the internet ruined it lowkey

I have too many favorite horror movies, but my tops would have to be No one gets out alive, the movie "the thing" from the 80s (the special effects seriously still hold up its amazing) As above so below has beautiful camera work and I love the mythology and architecture of the catacombs and the churches. Smile is a good thriller so its really hard to just choose one lol. I think my favorite however would have to be the autopsy jane doe. It has everything including gore, ritual horror, jump scares and takes place in a morgue with an actually GOOD twist at the end. Everyone should check it out if you haven't seen it!!!!!!!!! <3<3<3<3

Blair Witch Project!!!! i know a lot of people dont like it and think the ending isnt the best but i like it a lot and ive watched it like 5 times so far..

i wish i could remember the name but theres a horror movie about caving that i absolutely LOVE!! all i really remember about it is that a group of archeologists that are lowered down into a cave in a big thing that kinda looks like a mobile home for them to operate from. one by one they get picked off from a creature that lives in the dark. i think in the end they dont make it out? 

anyways caving horror is so cool to me and i really love it.

Best would be Halloween!! Michael Myers is AMAZING!!!
