Probably Creep 1 & 2! I really liked watching them even though the 2nd movie was a little bit uncomfortable to watch

hellraiser definitely. i like hellbound: hellraiser 2 the best, but the original is such a work of art. the 2022 one is good too, I really like the practical effects.

Agreed that Scream is an absolute classic! What hard question though... I think I would have to go with Nope at the moment, although my answer changes frequently. Nope was an amazing film, even if it was a little more Sci-fi then horror. Jordon Peel is seriously a genius!

Scream is a great one, but Halloween has to be my ride or die!! If we're talking about more recent favourites, i do have a bit of a soft spot for A Quiet Place O-O

There are many choices, but honestly i'll go with Scarecrows (1988), It's a low budget movie but the gore is fantastic and the design on the monsters is amazing.

Atm Saw is my fave.
I knew the spoilers for the movie watching but ngl I forgot the big twist at the end so I was SHOOK when I saw the ending. I’m never gonna forget the moment it clicked in my head and I remembered the twist lmao
I’m due to watch the sequel. I actually found it at a thrift store so I may watch it in my free time.

As basic as it is, I love Scream, all the movies are awesome, but if I had to choose one, I would go with Scream 4 or the first one :3

Misery.
It's the only horror movie that ever really made me squeamish.
I grew up on blood and gore movies since I knew at a young age they were fake. MTV had a special that showed how the effects are done in a lot of movies back then.
But Misery?
It didn't need blood and gore. It felt real, like it could happen to anyone.
And I know the book is worse.

The Thing. Idk, there's just something about it--the practical effects are just incredible and frightening, ahead of it's time even. And MacReady is just a fun protagonist. I love the ambiguous ending too.
