While I grew up during the peak of emo/scene in the 2000s, I was too young to really be "into" it per se. But tbph, a couple of girls I know on Twitter were what got me into scene/emo fashion in culture. As I've started to transition (socially at least) I decided to embrace my inner scemo partly out of a quarter-life crisis and as a sort of "rebirth" for me in terms of transition.

2014 I fell out of it for a while until recently around 2019 when I
became nostalgic and interested again

Through a girl that I liked that was the daughter of my dads
girlfriend who was my first big crush and she introduced me to both emo
and scene as well as metal and anime and meme culture so she is to thank
for the person that I am today because I still like most of those
things!

I got introduced at first to a lot of goth and metalcore bands as
well as stuff like 3 days grace so I do not know if they are proper
emo/scene but I did watch a lot of anime AMV's on youtube so I found out
more about emo though them but I do not remember all the songs which is

Do not really have a favorite band out of all of them but I have always like stuff like tool and chevelle even though they are not emo but it's still really hard to pick since I am still kind of a newbie despite being a lurker for about 10 years
