I was staying the night at my younger cousin's house and she showed me Alesana on MySpace, and a bunch of pictures of emo girls and guys. I thought the music and the style was amazing and I fell into that hole.

Alesana, specifically the song Ambrosia.

AFI! Their album Sing the Sorrow is one of the best ever albums to exist!

I wouldnt be shocked if my parents deleted my account once they found out I was on there.

Yeah but the username has my dead name in it so I am not going to post it. I used to a lot to talk to my parents when they were getting married in Jamaica.

Hi.

My name is Alexandra. I am 22, will be 23 this August. I like the color Black and I am emo.

I actually have never heard of NeverShoutNever until this icebreaker questionnaire thing but I will check them out. I have about 10 band posters, one is signed. I love the old Hot Topic better then the newer one. I love GIR and Jack Skellington. I still watch Invader Him and my favorite character is still GIR like I mentioned before. I prefer tacos. I think Ninjas would win against the pirates. I still have an IMVU I believe but I havent been on it in ages. Dear Maria most definitely. Brand New. I love monster and my favorite is the original and the zero calories blue one. I wanted to go to warped tour but they got cancelled before I even had the chance to go. I have not been to the Taste of Chaos. I've been emo since 7th grade. I looked up different lifestyles and felt more connected with the Emo life. My first emo band was All Time Low and Three Days Grace and Black Veil Brides. My favorite band is Black Veil Brides. My favorite song is Ritual and Scarlet Cross and Crimson Skies. I've never made a blingee. I prefer Black Veil Brides, but I love all of the bands listed in number 24. I never had a MySpace. I had an AIM but I don't remember what my username was. I like both escape the fate with either singers. I went to two concerts, my favorite one was with Asking Alexandria, BlessTheFall and Black Veil Brides for their resurrection tour. Avril Lavigne is not dead. I have one tattoo and an appointment for another tattoo. I had piercings but my kids kept trying to rip them out so I took them out. Neither. My favorite Pokemon is Meowth. I got big into scene music in early-mid high school and started dressing scene in about junior year onward and never really stopped.

Real confession? I was an Onision fan when I was a kid [BIG EMBARASSED] and he did a lot of Speaks and UhOhBro videos on emo and scene kids. Before that I was a fan of Black Veil Brides, Miss May I, and Valencia because I heard them on the radio in the game Saints Row The Third, and I was close friends with a scene girl in middle school but I didn't have any real knowledge about the actual scene and subculture until high school in 2013. Yeah, I was a little behind.

20. What was your first emo/scene band?

Believe it or not, if we're getting really technical it was The All American Rejects back in the 2006 because of the "Free The Band" marketing campaign thing they did with Bionicles. If we're talking about closer proximity to my teen years and when I actually started actively listening to music... Circa Survive? I got into them because I was a huge fan of the book House of Leaves.

Black Veil Brides has been and probably always be my favorite, at LEAST in my Top 10.

Fields of Bone. I told Lonny this myself on call with him. It's not just the best new song for this era, it's the best BVB song I've ever heard in my life. Scarlet Cross and Crimson Skies are still amazing, not gonna lie, but Fields of Bone is like next level.
