Probably, unlike many, I have an extraordinary affection for manuls, or Pallas cats, as they are properly called. This love originated with me at the very beginning of the popularization of memes involving these cute but wayward creatures. I remember the first time I saw the memes "one manul" and "pet the cat", and something in me seemed to click. There was more to these short, funny pictures than just a joke. It was a kind of window into the world of these mysterious creatures living in the distant expanses of steppes and mountains. Since then, I have been deeply immersed in the study of these amazing animals. I've learned so much about them that sometimes I wonder how so much information fits in my head. I have always been attracted to their independence, stern gaze and ability to survive in such difficult conditions. It's amazing how manuls remain so mysterious and inaccessible even in our time, when information is literally available at your fingertips. My love for manuls originated in childhood, when I, fascinated by their appearance and behavior, began to create stories with their participation. These were not just short stories, but whole novels, where the manuls played key roles. They became my heroes, guides to the worlds that I created in my imagination. I even organized role-playing games with friends where we imagined ourselves to be these wild cats, trying to bring their lives into our reality. Over time, my attachment to the manuls has only increased. I began to collect things with their image. To date, I have gathered an impressive collection, which occupies a special place in my house. Among my favorite items is a plush toy named manula, which I named Casper. She has become something of a mascot, symbolizing my affection for these cats. I also have a manul bracelet that I wear almost daily, reminding myself that there are things that make me happy. I also collected several badges with the image of manul, which I often attach to my clothes or backpack. This is not only a way to show your love for these animals, but also a way to start a conversation with people who notice these icons. A square manul with a print and soap in the shape of a manul have also become an integral part of my collection, turning ordinary things into objects that make me smile every time I see them. Of course, my collection does not end there. I continue to look for new items related to the manuals, and I hope that my collection will only grow. After all, in each new item I see not just a souvenir, but a small piece of what makes me really happy. So if someone asks why I love manuls so much, the answer is simple: they have become a part of my life, a part of my world, which I have been building for many years. And this world has become a little brighter and more interesting thanks to these amazing creatures.
