We should get an email if someone message us

i never really look at my emails, but i guess it would be cool as an optional feature

yeah I'd love to get some notification if someone comments on my forum topics, or sent me a message, or other stuff. I think that is one thing that precludes ongoing interaction. An email would be fine!

That would be good but unfortunately there is a rather large cost involved in that for a site with this many users. With the site being paid for out of pocket by the creator with little help from merch it's just an unjustifiable cost.
