I think a lot of people put too much stake in diagnoses when some people don't even have access to a psychiatrist, as well as the state of the psychiatry system.

I'm always interested by this topic and how it intersects with plurality, especially because of how acceptable it is to not get diagnosed in many other fields. If you don't have an access to a professional and you believe you have autism, ADHD, or believe you're trans and have dysphoria... people will say it's fine! In fact, they'll probably say that you don't need a diagnosis to have those things and advocate for yourself! But when it comes to plurality, it's a sin?

I know 3 people whos doctors didnt even believe DID existed. You dont need doctors to know if you have more than one person in your fucking body with you, lmao, anyone who says you do is kind of strange
