what kind of drum set do you play and what kind of miking do you like to use on them

Hey Cashlin, For decades I've played a Sonor kit. Then later a Ludwig Evolution kit which wasn't all that great of a kit to be honest, so now I'm planning on getting a Gretsch kit soon. In terms of microphone I really don't own any of them to be honest, I don't have much of a preference for microphone. What kind of drums/cymbals do you play? :)
