Fourms vs blogposts ?

Forums are usually to gather the attention of people and maybe talk about something or have a questions answered,
I'd say people use the blogs to write the things they're thinking about without an immediate, very wide audience and in addition, not letting it get lost in the sea of forum posts
Being that the blog posts are right there on the profile, I imagine it could answer someone's question of how a person thinks.

that makes sense considering you show blogposts on your profile and not form posts, but blog posts have their own search/form esque viewing area where you can see recent additions without being on their profile

I guess I'll just make both for my art dump later for max accessability ?

To put it in simple terms 

Forums are more like topics for debate

Blogs are more like a diary/journal.
