[SPOILERS FOR WALTEN FILES EP 5]
Ouhh I watched the fifth episode of the Walten Files a couple days ago on youtube after it came out and I've kind of been wanting to talk about that but haven't been able to. First of all I think its probably the best episode in the series over all just because of all the improvements I would say to the writing, art, and storytelling. Seeing Rosemary go through the stages of grief is genuinely heartbreaking and you feel so much for her as a character. I've lost family but I haven't experienced that sort of hard hitting grief before so I don't really have experience with that but I've seen people say its very accurate. Also Jack at first trying to stay kind of the strong man of the house and act like Edd and Molly's deaths didn't impact him as much I would say is also very time accurate for how men typically in the 50s/60s weren't really allowed to show those kinds of emotions and talk about them. Seeing Sophie lose her siblings, her dad, and eventually her mom is really hard too, especially since the last scene of her and Rose ended up in that argument. Rose's conversation with Bon was also really interesting too, and it does make you wonder if Jack is a part of Bon even like very distantly considering the way he treats Rosemary. Her death was brutal and quick (I hope) but in a way I think it showed he cared more for her I think, not wantimg her to suffer I guess. The ending scene with Rose seeing through the eyes of Sha and reluctantly repeating that she was happy to Bon after he made her say it was just eughhh. Anyway, I really enjoyed the episode and cant wait for six.
