I received my first fursuit commission!

I am not too experienced with pricing and commissions in general so if anyone has taken commissions before I would really love advice!

This is a friend of two years commissioning me (I'm not worried about them being disrespectful), and they want a kimono-style wolf head and paws with lesbian flag colors

I also have a few questions

Kimono heads tend to go for around $1,000, but they don't have that kind of budget and I haven't had many commissions before so is it ok to drop the price to about $550?

We live a bit far from each other so we will not be able to meet up regularly in-person. Can I get the measurements accurate with only photos of them plus the numbers they give me?

The other questions I have I can probably answer with some research. If you know any good artists who share their process or any other good sources please let me know!!!
