3DS friend codes, anyone?

hello all! it's my first time posting here. I'm ames and I love all sorts of old tech; I'm working on replacing the belt for my dad's old walkman (cassette tape player) and I hope to someday also fix whatever is wrong with the super nintendo that also belonged to my dad and my uncle. I have an iPod that I like to use, I use an old iPad 2 (2011) to watch shows downloaded and synced and I'm currently writing this from my macbook air running mac OS catalina. just a quick history of my less relevant previous tech experience!

when I was three or four years old in 2014, my granddad bought me a nintendo 2DS. ever since then, I've used it more than once every single year, and last year, I finally got around to modding it, which was something I'd wanted to do for a very long time. after that I upgraded my SD card and now I have countless games as well as an emulator for much older games, however there was something I was always lacking that I wanted since I was really young. friends.

now I'm more active on here than I used to be, I've decided that maybe now is the time to try to expand my friends list on my 2DS! it's a very sentimental device to me, I treasure it more than my phone honestly, and I was just wondering if anyone else felt similar and wanted more friends on their 2/3DS as well. some of the games I play the most are ace attorney, tomodachi life, super metroid (via snes9x emulator) and project mirai! I'd be glad to add anyone replying with their friend code, so I'll put mine here:

4485 - 1564 - 8328

thanks so much! I'll reply and add anyone back when I can!

I have 2ds too! But it's so broken I have to take it in to get the screen fixed. I'd love to mod it someday cause I like the idea of using other devices besides my phone for utility. What online spaces do you recommend to someone who wants to learn more about electronic repair.

for modding, I'd recommend 3ds.hacks.guide, and for repairs I can't be sure. how would you say your screen is broken? I have a similar issue in that my screen is dodgy and slightly uncalibrated, but it's not outright broken. if you try to repair it I wouldn't send it to your average tech guy, I'd try to send it to someone who specialises in handhelds and has lots of experience with 2/3DS repairs if I were you. otherwise you could of course try to fix it yourself but you'll have to be absolutely sure of what you're doing.
