In recent months, a lot has developed on this site that many users understandably don't agree with. First there was the issue with moderation or lack thereof. Over time the moderation team got saturated with so many users and many moderators didn't even log into this site. Another issue with moderation came from drama with former moderators Vasilis and Koltin, which resulted in Koltin being kicked out of the moderation team.
Then came the profile picture issues, which apparently only affect American users but that implies that American users need to use a VPN just to see profile pictures correctly on this site. And all this issues accumulated have given the impression that An has abandoned the site. People have raised concerns on this site's official subreddit, blogs and even on An's profile to no avail.
An alternative came out three months ago but it had its own issues with administration/moderation drama and many missing features, that alternative was called Napoleonite.
But forget about Napoleon, I've been using for the past month or so a site called FriendRewind, I wouldn't consider it a "MySpace clone", more of a MySpace reimagining if you ask me. And forget about missing features, that site has so many features the original MySpace didn't have and also has many features neither Spacehey nor Napoleon have like being able to upload pictures in albums directly into the site. Also, the owner is actively working on new features so if you have ideas that would make the site better, you should sound off in the forums.
Give FriendRewind a go, at least it will help you escape the algorithms and the drama.
