When it comes to writing.

I've been wanting to write dreams down in this journal I have but I'm not sure where to start.
Since each page only contains ~25 lines from what I remember it's hard to jot down every single little detail. What's bothering me the most however is what dreams do I actually write down? What's emotionally relevant?

This all spiked from a dream I had from a nap where it was my family defending our house from planes attacking us and we became an important, high targeted base. On one hand it contains my family, on another there's no emotions that really emit from it, yet should I write it down or not?

I struggle with direction on how to go about doing stuff, I always want to have the best and logical format. I don't know if I want to do two pages or one page considering the dream wasn't that emotionally evoking, yet it could be for other people so I can't really place my finger on this.

PS: For anyone curious about the actual dream and don't care to answer (I get it), the visual aspect of the dream was a combination of NES / N64 / DOOM image build boards for some stuff like trees yet morphed in with live action peoples.

Edit: So it wasn't a nap... IT'S A BRAND NEW DAY?!
