Or Rockabella/Gothabella
Rockabilly style is a 1950s-inspired fashion movement blending vintage femininity with rebellious rock 'n' roll attitude, featuring high-waisted denim, pencil skirts, petticoats, and bold patterns like leopard print or cherries. Common in greaser fashion (for boys) Common visual elements found in rockabilly include polka dots, roller skates, jukeboxes, red roses, poodles, paisley patterns, skulls, old-school tattoos.ย
Gothabilly is a fusion subgenre and fashion style combining the upbeat sound and aesthetics of 1950s rockabilly with the dark, moody elements of gothic rock. Popularized by bands like The Cramps in the late 1970s. Personally, I havenโt listened to them, but I saw many people recommend them.ย
Iโve recently become really into both of these styles; Iโve always loved the vibe of the 1950s and 1960s, the comics, the music, something about this smells like old magazine and I really like it (also you can see many archie comic gothabilly edits xD)ย
Sometimes Rockabilly/Bella styles can seem a bit monotonous, though Iโm sure that if the genre were just a little more popular, there would be more interesting and varied ideas in terms of fashion and art
