i haz lots of Alpha expansion pack questions

• are the following only in creative: brick furnaces, that one purple ore (can't remember the name) lamps, chairs , regualr slabs , spears, dynomite etc
• does the dev have a discord
• if so, are any updates coming soon? I emailed him, he hasn't gotten back its been months :(
