emo clothes question

I think you can wear whatever you want and make it work, it's all about combining it with other piece and adding accessories. As an elder emo, we were HUGE needs, we just didn't have much access to cool anime designs back then (or at least where I lived)

An outfit I think of (and one I wear regularly 'cause it's easy and comfy), it's an black anime t-shirt, a black zip-up hoodie or plaid shirt, black jeans and convers or boots. You can accessorize with studded belts and chains, studded bracelets and chain necklaces, but really what will give it that emo quintessential look is the hair. If you have layers or a shaggy cut, make it spiky with hair wax. That alone with make almost any look an emo look.
