I know the anime is deviating from the game's plot, but many of the ideas and concepts remain - the world is a filthy place, and KAngel doesn't ignore this unlike others. She's aware of how the internet views her, and how they'll turn on her too.
I find a lot of her dialogue and points made in the anime very charming and insightful. By acknowledging her shortcomings and refusing to lie/pretend, her presence feels that much more real and interesting.
