I just got some avatar cds and TAPES(!!!) so now I have 6/10 albums.
they're from their bandcamp which doesn't look like it will be used anymore. I didn't get feathers and flesh because it's listed as a digipak but the picture is clearly a jewel case...? i have some other notes about funny things like that.
but the tapes dude. i've recently gotten into tapes and i didn't have any that i liked. avatar released these like 5 years ago, limited to 250 each, and there's still not a low stock warning. so hop on that if you're into it. they're cheap too. i've seen (new) tapes go for some 20 dollars which is ridiculous that's how much a vinyl costs. these are $6.66 :)
these digipaks are kind of fucked up though lol. they're a worse design than what dance devil dance and don't go in the forest are sold in. the thing in the middle of the cd that holds it in... doesn't do its job, it doesn't retract and click into place like it should. and when i took avatar country out a piece broke off.
the hunter gatherer cd came with a sticker on it that says "recorded multitrack on 2" analog tape"... not true?? what?...why does it say that? i want it on tape though.
