hi! im new to spacehey so i hope im doing this right TT
im looking for reccomendations for 1st gen kpop songs! ive always been a fan of 2nd gen but im recently wanting to explore more of 1st gen kpop! i usually gravitate towards girl groups but im very happy for any reccomendations! i know a few songs of 1st gen but not many. my current fav is get up by baby v.o.x :)

since you love baby v.o.x, you'd probably really like s.e.s (try "dreams come true" and "i'm your girl") and fin.k.l (their song "to my boyfriend" is a classic). def check out shinhwa for boy groups ("perfect man" is timeless) and g.o.d for some emotional classics :>

alongside koi's recs, i'd def give you "forever" by fin.k.l, and the boy group k-pop (hard to search up and honestly i can barely find anything about them aside from their names, but here's one of their songs (my fave) if u're interested). and while click-b leans more towards rock, their song "to be continued" is a contemporary classic in my eyes, eep.
lee junghyun is also an iconic soloist from this era, who also leans into an electronic / hip-hop sound at times. here's a song of her's, "crazy."
