HIHI!! Im Very New To Metal As A Whole And I Don’t Really Know The Differences Between The Genres? It’d Be Nice To Know A Lot More About Its History And Their Differences And So On!!

Ive Only Been Introduced To It Recently Through Watching Heavy Trip, Metalocalypse And Brutal Legend Gameplay And Only Been Listening To Their Soundtracks So Far I Like The Galaktikon Albums By Brendon Small If That Counts As Well As A Lot Of Dethklok Stuff But It’d Be Nice To Branch Out A Bit So I’d Like Some Recommendations As Well!! Im Not Too Picky But I Like Hearing The Guitar Riffs If Anything Else

I suggest The Black Dahlia Murder a lot. Specifically their album "Nocturnal". Great introductory stuff and that album is just amazing.

Hi! Since this group is about extreme metal, I believe that the best starting point to enjoy some of it is going with Melodic Death Metal classics, My fav band from this genre is Dark Tranquillity, and some other bands you could check out are In flames, Arch Enemy, Children of Bodom, At the Gates and Insomnium. Same thing goes for Black Metal, start with the melodic stuff, like Dissection, Vinterland, Windir, Dawn and Sacramentum!
