Limited Items

I understand that basically nobody talks in this group, but I wanted to ask a question now that I've got my hands on a few limiteds and am, last time I checked, ~200 bricks away from Hoarder Lv. 1: why is it that people like to criticise the lilac top hat? I'm actually quite a huge fan of it and I'm very glad I own such a pretty limited... am I missing something? Do people just not like the pastel colours? Is it difficult to style?

Also erm how the heck am I meant to show up on time for the limiteds that have like 200 stock and vanish within 5 minutes, is there some sort of store notification system I'm unable to locate LOL
