I can't wait for 2.0 to drop, I think it will be sick!

For what it's worth... I think Pauly is very cute. Perhaps a little more weight and chubbiness to the arms and legs to make him looks a bit less lanky and more puffy would be nice, but other than that I really like him! I definitely understand why some people aren't a fan of him since his design is a huge departure from the blocky avatars people are used to, especially with the fact that a lot of new fans (myself included) joined because they were looking for something akin to Roblox to enjoy that... WASN'T Roblox, but I'm sure they'll get used to it eventually. That said I latched onto the first avatar redesign quite quickly (despite being initially jumpscared by it), so it may just be me going into things with a slightly more open mind and less expectations.

Interestingly I've noticed (at least on the forums, I'm not on the Discord because imagine having a Discord account in 2026) that it seems to be exclusively February 2026 joiners that had such a visceral reaction to Pauly, there definitely seems to be a disconnect between older and newer players - although I suppose that's to be guaranteed, since Polytoria was touted as "classic Roblox in 2026" in a lot of places, and has otherwise been compared multiple times to Roblox as of late, whereas players who joined earlier on probably didn't have that kind of mindset when they signed up, seeing it as more of a Roblox alternative than anything else.

And yeah, I do very much look forward to 2.0, haha! I'm trying not to have my expectations too high so I don't get unnecessarily disappointed, but I am definitely curious of the changes that will be brought about when the team releases it!
