ok this requires a bit of context from me chat
in november i bounced a fic idea to my friend leo and i was looking for my white lettuce hem socks when i came up with it hence why it’s called sock thing
anyway sock thing gets published as a oneshot in december. it gains over 1000 views and a little over 100 kudos. i write some poetry loosely inspired by it that doesn’t have the same amount of love but that’s ok. and that’s basically the end of the story, right?
wrong! leo told me yesterday (today is february 10th) that he’s making a SPINOFF of the fic that focuses on the journal entry at the end (it makes more sense when you read it lol). i’m very excited because i consider sock thing to be like my child and it’s like it’s growing up a little now!
