I have a problem, like, I love Yaoi but mostly the 2000s/90s/80s ones and I just watch Anime/Ova/VNs. I remember that years ago the popular thing was the anime/manga stuff, and thats how I started in the Yaoi world, but I think that it would be nice to watch other stuff like finally read some manhwa or watching some dramas so I would appreciatte if someone gives me some :)

And I'm curious abt what you guys think abt the Old Yaoi like idk Ai No Kusabi or Viewfinder, stuff like that... Personally I'm a fan... but now is difficult to find someone that like that kind of Yaoi T_T

Hiii so for drama recomandation i recomand watching revenged love (theres a guy thats get left by his girlfriend for another guy and he tries to steal the guy from her as revenge) it is a c-drama and reallyyy funny or also the next prince it is a thai drama i personally prefer the side stories but anyway (the main character lifes a normal life till he finds out he is actually a prince. yeah i know it sounds lill cheessy and boring but it is good anyway. and he has to fight against the other princes from amalia who is going to be the prince from amalia because amalia is a country out ouf 4 different ones. sounds lil complicated. anyway he falls for his bodyguard and the other princes have a side story too) about old yaoi i didn#t watched the ones you named but i am currently watching the betrayal knows my name

I LOOOOVEEEE OLD BL I twink its such a time capsule esp physical old bl oml I love it. FAKE is definitely maybe favorite like classic classic. I think it would've been so cool if fake got a full anime instead of an OVA too just bc its entire vibe and premise is lowk perfect for an adaptation. Still I adore the OVA to death but I wish BL as a medium was given a lot more respect than it is esp when I see people online dogging on old bl it makes my heart hurt a little bit. I hope that modern publishing companies will be able to pick up more series that translations died to because it's so hard to find full finished physical bls anymore

Chigusa Kawai is like one of my fav BL authors ever Alice the 101st is so good, and La Esperança is honestly pretty easy to find all of.  Her stories are so dramatic and she's so obsessed with catholic boys sm it's so endearing. New York, New York is absolutely incredible and personally was one of my entryway stories into bl so there's that too. Liberty liberty is defo one of my fav old school one shot mangas. In terms of Anime Im not too versed in old stuff Iva really only watched the classics ai no kusabi, kizuna, FAKE, gravitation, etc. I haven't even watched viewfinder yet so idk really sigh
