I already have plenty of experience sewing but I just want to know what a good place is to get materials!
Faux fur is so expensive on Amazon! For a two-meter tall plush I must've spent like $300 on fur... Is this normal???
There is also not a very large selection of colors on Amazon. Where could I get (ideally) cheaper fur in more colors? Is it better to use a different material that is not faux fur?

Try and see if there are craft stores near you, like maybe Michael's or something similar, especially if they are locally owned.

big z and howl fabrics have a lot of cheaper furs, and at the very least they have huge selections
