Best cameras for beginners?

when your starting out just use ur phone camera

I agree with SofaDog, when starting out, now a days phones are pretty good at photography.

Personally, I started with a canon Powershot digital camera. (specifically the Canon PowerShot elph150IS). I still use these types of cameras... but overall I agree with the others, cameras are pretty expensive, even the little digital cameras like the powershot. If you can find one of these digital cameras at a garage sale or estate sale for cheap then i def recommend.  Other than that, then your phone will do great for starting out, and disposable cameras can also be a ton of fun :)
