Typing this on a 14 year old laptop and it still works great. I have an even older Macbook from 2007, and a bunch of older cameras and camcorders. I fuck with the characteristics and reliability of older, more offline tech.

Did you hear about the Clicks Communicator? It's supposed to be a phone that brings back many features which were on Blackberries from the late 2000s, like a physical keyboard, customizable LED notification light, and 35mm headphone jack. I'm excited for it and already put down my deposit although I really wish they had a functional prototype.

I have started restoring my old laptops with Linux Mint Xfce. I also have a slightly newer laptop from 2018 with Linux Mint Cinnamon that I installed some old games on from GOG. They work even with a gaming controller, so it's like my main laptop now.
