Anyone who loves chatting about or playing ttrpgs plssss hit me up.
I'm looking to get a bunch of people who are especially interested or passionate to run a game for online or to participate in an already running game.
I really dig the classic sword & sorcery fantasy vibe that's evoked from Conan, Lovecraft, Moorcock and Leiber stories and anything Tolkien-coded high fantasy like your good ol' fashioned D&D of the late 70's through the 80's y'know anything Mystara/Forgotten Realms-y.
I personally am currently really interested in running a game for 0e D&D all the way up to 2e D&D and anything in-between (Basic/Expert, 1e, Holmes Basic, etc.) just depending on what the collective interest is. The major goal being a game that has lots of really big sprawling scary dungeons and tales told through gameplay instead of pre-written worldbuilding. Think more improv/emergent sandbox style play vs. narrative focused play.
I love the resource management, exploration focus and the lack of complex rules so that we can sorta just talk out how the characters do stuff vs. having hyper specific character sheet stats and bonuses to determine the results of every action via dice rolls, so no more Perception checks!
Anyone who shares this interest or is looking to try to play in game like this hmu! ALSO, anyone running a game of any kind leave some information about what system it is, the time you play and what's going on in the campaign as I love reading about peoples games and stories.
