🔥 job application hell 🔥

Forum: Jobs, Work, Careers

creating a thread for job seekers to vent about the tedious, fruitless, infuriating, confusing, and repetitive parts of trying to get a job in the baaaad 2020s job market ;x; what's your least favorite part of looking for work? something that's recently made you rage?

my complaint: how hard could it possibly be to set up an automated system that sends an email when an application gets rejected?? the ghosting thing is not it. i don't like being left guessing or having to check the listing to see if it's still up, and getting an actual rejection would (in a weird way) be a reminder to apply for more. instead i just feel like i'm sending resumes into the void!!!
