Do ghosts have a scent?

So i had this situation a while ago, probably 2 yrs or so.
I live in a really old house and my family never moved - so some of my older family members died here. I knew my grandmother when i was a kid, but she passed when i was still really young. I don't remember much about her - but i do  have one really strong memory.
I remember the smell of her meds. It's honestly hard to forget, she had been sick for many years.

One day, many years after she was gone I smelled this characteristic scent. I didn't get scared at first, but it just kept happening in random parts of the house. I prayed and tried to stay calm - it was my granny after all - i love her!

Anyway, it stoped one day. Do you know if its common for ghosts to have smell? Is it a bad sign or maybe just a visit from a loved one?

Yes, some ghost do have "Scents." Its often known as Clairalience or "Clear smell," It's the physical way for spirits to communicate. It often happens toward loved ones. SO in short, yes its normal. I know cause I had passed a similar experience with my Grandma from my dad's side who passed away.

Ghosts are not real, jinns are though, basically ghosts but not at the same time. Bad jinns smell bad and there's usually like a coldness in the air. Meanwhile good jinns stay away from you, they don't want to bother humans.
