Some months ago..
The night was repelled by red. Par lights tied upon trees illumiated the event. Everyone was soaked in crimson. The clothes I wore that night started in cotton white. I surveyed the area, looking for interst to pursue. It was in this observant state I noticed a lone man leaned against a proud oak tree. There was a bandage secured to the bridge of his nose. I made my way towards the man and asked, "What's wrong with your nose?".
He blinked a few times, then replied,"it helps me breath."
"intersting"
"would you like to see a magic trick?"
"of course." I responded.
He pulls a deck of cards, asking me to pick one at random. Queen of hearts. I put it back into the deck, which he proceeds to shuffle. "Queen of hearts", he says as he holds the card.
"impressive, but I know how you did it. You held your finger in the deck as a buffer, so you knew the placement of which I put my card back."
"well.. yes. after all, magic is just illusion."
" Nonsense. Magic is quite real, I'll show you."
I pulled a quarter from my pocket, letting him inspect to ensure it's a normal mint. I placed the coin in the back of my head. I reveal my hands and sleeves to show it's not held. I then fish behind my tounge and pull George Washington out of my mouth.
