any advice for navigating an ldr/military relationship?

so i js started seeing this guy and he's legitimately perfect so far. we don't know each other super well, but we want to keep getting to know each other and talking yk?

problem being-- i'm in SK rn, and he's Korean so mandatory conscription GOT his ass

and he made it clear that despite enlisting, he still wants to talk and know each other (and based on his behavior he's gonna ask me to be his gf relatively soon; all things considered) 

so all this to say: Does anyone have any advice for coping with being in an LDR or a military relationship? How do you keep your mind off them while they can't speak to you? I don't wanna lose my mind lol...
