She's one of the most well known Incelcore artists, and one I consider myself a big fan of. Something I find kind of funny though is that a majority of people don't realize she even goes by she/her (she/he to be specific) in the first place, and that she's a black trans woman. She's long since moved past the XO_willow project and goes by Crucify April these days.
The reason why I'm bringing all this up is because it's deeply ironic that a genre of music with a fanbase that's rampant with racism and transphobia has an incredibly well known figure in it who's both a person of color and trans. Her music is covered by Incelcore artists all the time (Loser64, belowground, pwnd, blehh, Maniac, Negative XP, Not The Proper Attire, deadgvrl, and the list goes on and on). She was even on one of the earliest Incelcore compilation albums (Mkultra Support Group, Vol 1) alongside Negative XP, sodaboy64, Hard Christ, Spree, werewolf hair, and Greens On Toast. Loser64 once made the joke that you're not a true Incelcore artist till you've covered XO_willow's entire discography.
I'm not even sure if any of the people listed or their fans even know of her current identity and project, to be clear.
As a trans woman myself in this community, I find all of this really cool. I dunno if anyone else does though.
Anyways, thought this would be a fun post to make in this group :3
Sincerely, this group's token trans girl.
