hello i'm new here and i just finished Cunning Folk by Adam L.G. Nevill and...
i enjoyed it thoroughly! it felt similar to We Used to Live Here by Marcus Kliewer, in which the primary main character is experiencing events and torment that go virtually unseen by anyone else, creating a heavy sense of isolation for the MC and confusion for the reader about whether or not these things are *actually* happening in the way that the MC is experiencing them.
highly recommend to anyone looking for a book with spooky & powerful things in the woods, cathartically terrible neighbors, and an excellent sense of place :)
