MCSC is an archived compilation of mostly free tools, tutorials, and techniques to help people make things. I don't even really care what exactly it is you want to make, my only goal is to inspire people to make things by providing knowledge of the existence of free tools. As this is a project encouraging free expression, it is founded on the God given right of Free Speech.
1) A word on criticism/trolling- Offense is "taken", never "given". You have to actively choose to be offended, and; you can choose to simply not be offended. That is to say, you are the one who gets to decide if someone else's words hurt you.
That being said, if someone is just going out of their way to try to make people feel bad, and it's become obvious they aren't interested in actually contributing anything useful, I'll remove them. Their are plenty of places on the internet to flame and shitpost, you don't need to post that stuff here.
Inversely, having your work or ideas criticized is not the same as a personal attack on some arbitrary aspect of your "identity", so please don't jump down anyone's throat or put words in their mouth over benign comments. Basically, I'm not going to police peoples speech, unless it's an extreme case...
2) A word on sexually explicit/suggestive material- Again, there are no shortages of places on the internet to find that sort of thing. This place doesn't need to be one of them. By all means, make what you're going to make with the tools provided, but if it's in this category, share it among yourselves or somewhere else.
3) Only Admins can post in / edit the "Curated Lists", if you think the lists are missing something just PM me and I can review/make those changes. This is to keep the lists as clean and concise as possible for anyone that might be looking for a specific link.
