Covid Precautions

Do any of you feel like society as a whole is trying to gaslight us into going back to life as normal, as if we aren’t still living in a pandemic?

Even some that I know whom were taking the guidelines seriously seem to have given up some precautions once they got the vaccine.

I’m triple vaccinated, I still wear my mask when I’m out of my house (which isn’t often) & when I’m around people who aren’t in my very small Covid bubble.

It’s not that I don’t *want* to go out and do all the things & enjoy life, but I understand virology too well. I understand there are still risks for the vaccinated. I understand that vaccinated ppl still can get the virus, or be asymptomatic spreaders. The guilt that I would hold forever if I were the cause of someone close to me dying because I wanted to go out partying is not worth it, to me.

I stopped going to my chiro because she stopped wearing a mask.

Also, I feel like I’ve missed the part where someone said social distancing wasn’t necessary & ppl stopped staying six feet back from me.

With my understanding of how this virus spreads, all of these things make me highly uncomfortable and give me anxiety.
