On the topic of Lolita!

Hello there!

I've always wanted to try dress up in Lolita, but a lot of the clothes are pretty expensive! I want to try sewing one myself, but I pretty much have never sewn before and this raises a few questions.

1. How expensive would it be to make my own outfit? (Blouse and OTK, I think I can afford the accessories from stores.)

2. If it is, in fact, not too costly, where do I learn to make such things?

This sounds like a lot, but I really am clueless!(ᵕ • ᴗ •)

Making clothes yourself can be pretty pricey.  You have to buy a sewing machine, fabric, lace, and then you have to spend the time learning and sewing.  Sewing your own clothes is fulfilling and a great hobby but if you are wanting to save money it might just be better to buy second-hand on Vinted/Lace Market.  As I have said on another post, you can find patterns in the Gothic and Lolita Bible, Otome Sewing Books, and tutorials on YouTube.
