It still holds up imo
I will say I gravitate to the stuff it inspired like Left 4 Dead more though. There was some other REALLY GOOD game that used the HL engine but I can't remember what it was.
Gmod is still amazing too!

i am a massive fan of half life (even though i only played the first one), the lore fascinates me and valve's history of innovation through the franchise hypes me up a lot.
also yes i believe in half-life 3 coming soon

half life is one of the first pc games I've ever played lol
playing half life is one of the best decision that I made. since it introduces me to valve and it's other games.
I HOPE for half life 3.
