easily preparable food when you're sick?

i'm in physical pain once again, my knee has been yeehawing itself
lately; so i tend to go for foods that are easier to prepare and digest, e.g. soups.

what is YOUR go-to sick meal?

- freshly cooked meat, just with salt or something basic. I cook in lactose free butter / teflon pan

- rice rice rice

- mashed potatoes, nothing extra added, only salt.

- if you're into japanese stuff, miso soup, easiest soup on the planet

I'm trying to eat easy to digest food myself due to my digestive issues. Basically..that's what I can eat.

- if you're not having issues with taste, then I guess, mac n cheese is an option, they say it's hilariously easy to make, however, not a sick meal for sure.

Mashed potatoes are a peak choice, both high in calorie to keep your body fed while it's working on fighting the sick, easy to digest, and easy to just eat.

I also tend to make soups. Anything I can put on the stove and just let sit there.

-chicken bouillion

- carrots

- leeks

- onion

- dill
- egg noodle/any noodle that doesnt get soft easily

- heavy cream

^ make sure not to turn the heat up too high when you add the heavy cream. The heat should either be off or very very low to keep from weird "milk too hot" reactions
