in recent years ive been working to reduce my screen time and fix my attention span but that is difficult to do when you work night shift in security. anyone else work boring jobs? what do you do to pass the time that's more fulfilling?

Reading is nice, if you don't get tired. Crocheting is fun too xD You could do sudoku or crossword puzzles. In general typical grandma hobbies are the way to go I guess lol
I also think about buying a Tamagotchi again. But that would be just a pastime now and then. A bigger commitment would be to take a handheld console with you, if that's allowed.

I second reading though, also maybe trying to listen to a new album each night? explore more music that way by like setting out a new album and actively listening to it
