one of the most helpful bassline for beginners (at least for my beginning) is i got you by james brown. september by earth, wind and fire as well. money by pink floyd and creep by radiohead are simple and repetitive so theyre perfect for practicing. nirvana basslines are usually always easy and fun too so i suggest you learn some of those too :p
