Forum:
1. Go find the song you like on soundcloud
2. go to https://cobalt.tools/
Cobalt is an extractor that gets the mp3 file and lets you download it.
3. Paste the soundcloud link of the song you like into cobalt.
4. Download the mp3.
5. go to youtube and upload the song
IMPORTANT STEPS DO NOT SKIP
6. !!! Put in proper metadata from soundcloud to youtube title and description.
Metadata just means the credit of the song.
7. !!! Title should be "artist(s)- song name", any thing that has to do with features or remix's are added to the end.
8. !!! Find the extra credits in soundcloud, like producers, features, lyric writers, etc, (they are usually in descriptions) and paste it into the youtube description.
Its important to follow steps 6-8, most artists on soundcloud use creative commons licensing, which means the song can be used on another platform, but it MUST be credited properly or else they have the right to request a take down! But please be careful because some artist do NOT want their music reupload what so ever. these steps are cheeky but its just to make sure your reupload wont cause any issues :>
9. Upload!
10. Yay! now you can use the song on your profile.
Note: It might take awhile before the song is actually usable since youtube runs automods on the video even after its uploaded (only does this sometimes for some reason???)
